In the book, "What About Me," Xander is seemingly rejected in several different circumstances. When he is challenged to "reframe his perspective" (see things differently), he discovers that as long as he knows who he is and that the key people (and pet!) in his life think he is important, that is enough.
What About Me?
This 8” X 10” soft cover children’s picture book contains 66 pages, including 19 full page colored illustrations. It presents uniquely playful text, including graphic novel elements. It is written from the perspective and with the sound of a child still developing language and character skills. Recommended predominantly for 3-9 year olds, but young and old alike chuckle at the antics of Xander and his pet duck, and the message speaks to the heart of all people.
